MARCH BAPTISTE

by Brian Harris

March Baptíste uses two hymn tunes, I'll Fly Away and When The Roll Is Called Up Yonder, as the framework for a happy and toe-tapping march medley. Everyone gets a chance to play a melody because woven among the three sections of the piece are excerpts from 8 other gospel hymns. Audiences will enjoy "keeping score" of how many tunes they can identify!
