    Flute 1 up to e-flat2 one time,  the rest of the time it stays at c2 or below;  Flute 2 doubles Flute 1 throughout (Flute 2 up to c2);  Oboe up to a1 one time towards end of piece;  Bassoon up to c often;  Clarinet 1 up to a1 two times;  Clarinet 2 down to F one time;  Bass Clarinet up to e-flat1 and plays around d1 often;  Tenor Sax up to a1 four times;  Bari Sax up to f1 one time
Brass:
    F Horn up to e1 three times late in the piece; Tuba up to C three times.

Comments:
  • Flute solo (4bars)
  • Flutes in unison most of the piece
  • Dynamics stay mp-mf until the end where it is forte.
  • The middle of the piece has lots of sustained tones throughout the band with Flute, Trumpet, and Percussion solis.
  • There is a canon at measure 20.
  • Percussion part is very important in adding unique colors to this piece.
