THE STAR-SPANGLED BANNER (National Anthem of the USA; concert band setting)

This concert-sized (8.5”x11”) publication of the Sousa-Damrosch setting of the STAR-SPANGLED BANNER is in the original and most sing-able key of A-flat. The 1917 harmonization by Walter Damrosch remains, while Sousa’s arrangement has been slightly modified to meet today’s modern concert band instrumentation and a couple of melodic rhythms have been altered to fit the official lyrics. Phrase markings have been added to assist in rehearsal and performance. Includes LYRICS on all parts so students learn our National Anthem!
